Unfettered Urban Fowl

Together with the usual assortment of urban birds that flock to where I lay out bird seed every morning - mourning doves, pigeons, sparrows, crows, and the occasional scrub jay - I now have a new bird coming around: a chicken. I have no idea where the chicken came from, but it's one of God's creatures too, so it's welcome to whatever seed it can wrest from the interloping squirrels.
