California National Day of Dance, 2018

A moment from the Kickoff Ceremony for California’s National Day of Dance, 2018:



I never even made it over to the State Capitol, per usual habit.


Technically, I’m a dancer. Actually, I’m just confused.

A number of dancers formed a cheering gauntlet as the guests went down the halls to their seats. It was a bit ridiculous, but I loved it. It was like I scored the game-winning point. The girls with their shimmering costumes from BlyueRose Dance Project were particularly enthusiastic!
