David Frum Says Vote For Romney Or The Country Will Get It Between The Eyes

The trouble with David Frum's hostage argument, of course, is that the GOP will shoot the country between the eyes whether it votes for Romney, or not. The hostage-taker is CRAZY! Totally LOCO! Appeasement doesn't work in those situations. Remember Munich?:

If anything, an Obama re-election will not only aggravate the extremism of the congressional GOP, but also empower them: an Obama re-election raises the odds in favor of big sixth-year sweep for the congressional GOP - and very possibly a seventh-year impeachment. A Romney election will at least discourage the congressional GOP from deliberately pushing the US into recession in 2013.

The only way out of this situation is a Dirty Harry approach. Vote Obama back in, and welcome the GOP to respond:
