The possibility of a brokered Democratic convention this summer is causing a wave of nostalgia for 1952, the last time that happened.
Circumstances were quite a bit different then than now. I don't anticipate a brokered convention this time. It didn't happen in 2008, for example, in analogous circumstances. Sanders is currently running a better campaign than Biden is, but stranger things have happened, like in 1952, so we'll see. Who knows, maybe it will be Warren's time after all?
