DMTC's Big Day of Giving - May 2, 2019

DMTC had a good day - $33,353 in donations, including one $10,000 donation. I am concerned that the number of donations was off: 1/3 fewer than last year, which some people attribute to less meme generation and grassroots campaigning, but which I attribute to the Trump administration's recent increase of the federal tax standard deduction. It just isn't worth it anymore for marginal donors to donate. So good news for now, but maybe worrisome in the future if there is a recession or other unexpected event.
