Driving to Davis Friday evening, I braked sharply while crossing the Sacramento River on Highway 50. After that, I couldn't quite reach highway speeds again on the freeway, like something was slowing me down. Approaching Davis, I realized I was also having trouble braking.
When I reached Davis and parked, the right rear wheel assembly was smokin' hot. I was also spilling brake fluid. Uh, oh!
During the weekend, I patched together rides to get back and forth to Davis.
Sunday evening, I called AAA for a tow back to Ellis Automotive in Sacramento. Hopefully they can repair the damage.
But the weekend of shows went pretty well.
