After crossing the coconut-covered peninsula between the estuary and the Pacific Ocean, our tractor-drawn trailer reached the beach. We then turned and travelled north, back towards Mazatlan.

Across the narrow jetty between the ship channel (Bahia Darsena) and this beach, a cruise ship can be seen leaving Mazatlan's harbor. On the right, Isla de la Piedra.
