On the afternoon of February 18, 2019, easterly winds started howling on Mesa del Sol - the mesa southeast of Albuquerque. Cold air on the Great Plains was spilling over into the Rio Grande Valley. This is just about the most striking I’ve ever seen the Manzano Mountains! Looks like a Kelvin wave breaking atop the clouds!Sacramento area community musical theater (esp. Cold Air Spills Over The Manzano Mountains
On the afternoon of February 18, 2019, easterly winds started howling on Mesa del Sol - the mesa southeast of Albuquerque. Cold air on the Great Plains was spilling over into the Rio Grande Valley. This is just about the most striking I’ve ever seen the Manzano Mountains! Looks like a Kelvin wave breaking atop the clouds!
