The Peppers Have No Flavor
The clerk was trying to up sell me on my Philly Cheesesteak fixings.
“Want some peppers? he asked. “What do they taste like?” I replied. “Oh, the peppers have no flavor,” the clerk answered.
I found this to be irresistible. Even the mildest pepper has a flavor. So, I got the Peppers, and sure enough, they had no flavor whatsoever.
Truth in advertising.
The Elderly Men Scatter
I don’t have a poker face. I was going through the Safeway self-checkout and the employee monitoring the area immediately asked, “What’s wrong?” ”This,” I replied, as I handed her what I found on the floor: a bundle of money and credit cards held together by a clip. Mortified, she said, “It must belong to that elderly man that was just here!” She ran out into the parking lot and started chasing down elderly men, who all scattered, not wanting to get blamed for whatever new nonsense was up.
Ballet 422
An excellent suggestion by Kate!
A wonderful premiere at New York City Ballet. and an intricate rehearsal process, and all captured on film. Justin Peck, choreographer. Available now at Amazon Prime (but will soon disappear).
Just another reminder that ballet is the best thing on Earth!
