So Biden got a bump in the post-debate polling, and outraised Trump $12M to $8M. I’m thinking the reason was simply that 1.) people understood the unfairness of the debate. As soon as Trump sensed that CNN wasn’t going to enforce the already-loose, agreed-upon rules of the debate then he could get away with anything. And he did. The audience was decent and sided with the underdog- Biden; and 2.) partisan polarization is so strong that one debate would not really be enough to change anything.
Unless you can readily name your replacement candidate (and seriously, you should have started working on this a year ago), it’s time to stop badgering Biden and start working with him.
And now we get the overwrought panic by Democrats to change the nominee at the last possible moment. Biden needs to hurt someone, in order to reestablish people's respect and fear. First off, kick ABC News out of the White House Press Room, followed quickly by the New York Times. They've been bothsidesing enough. Time to end this crap.
