Casas de Sueños - Feb. 23-26, 2023

When Rachel arrived in town, we took a cottage (Porter) at Casas de Sueños.

Here is the entrance, featuring a curious construction by architect Bart Prince.  Staff said the entrance is deteriorating, and they want to replace it, but the construction is on a list of Historic Landmarks, so good luck with that.

Casas de Sueños was constructed in the late 1930s and features a number of cottages built for resident artists.

The counter at the front desk.

The lobby.

The ice box.

The little goat.

A cupola.

Living room at Porter.  Nice features of this room include a foldout sofa-bed with an air mattress that is inflated with an air pump.

The kitchen.

The impossibly-tall bed.  Don't fall from here!

The bathroom.

A window box.

The breakfast dining room.

Eating breakfast.

In the dining room.

The dining room fireplace.

Rachel, just before we headed out for ballroom dancing at CSP Studios (Crazy Salsa Patty, apparently).

The little goat sees all.
