A Nighttime Stroll Around San Francisco - Crossing Between the Financial District and Chinatown, and Back

During the Lady Gaga concert, I had time to kill, so I ventured north into the Financial District.  I parked the car near Kearney and Pine, and spent some time in the Chipotle near there, at Sutter and Kearney. Then, I walked to Grant Ave., headed north on Grant through the Dragon Gate into Chinatown, turned right onto Jackson St., I guess on the edge of the North Beach neighborhood, and right again, returning on Kearney Ave. back to where I parked.

Tall buildings.

Apparently they once had one of these in Davis.

Cool escape stairs.

In my "Breaking Bad" Symbols book, I discuss Vault Glass, windows that help illuminate spaces below the sidewalk, and how you can't find Vault Glass in Albuquerque anymore.  Whoa!  Here is Vault Glass on the sidewalks of Chinatown!
