Starring Wes Studi as Joe Leaphorn and Adam Beach as Jim Chee, roles they also filled in the film versions of Skinwalkers and A Thief of Time. Also starring Graham Greene, Sheila Tousey, Keith Carradine, Alex Rice, Gary Farmer, and Jimmy Herman. Filming locations: Albuquerque, Corrales, Jemez, Rio Rancho, To’hajiilee (CaƱoncito/Navajo Chapter), Zia Pueblo.
