"Raging Bad"

On my Albuquerque visit, Frank and Jackie Sandoval handed me a card for "Raging Bad," a soon-to-open Rage Room at 3301 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho, so I paid a quick visit. Manager Julieta was there waiting for city inspection, so she showed me around.

The artwork is done by Hometown Heroez on San Mateo Blvd. (hheroez.com). The target audience appears to include corporate workplaces.

You are provided with baseball bats, yellow bodysuits and masks, and you smash as many things as possible, including glassware.

They had a television set there that they had attacked with baseball bats, but so far had failed to break.

Nothing says fun like a vacuum cleaner and a bunch of baseball bats!

And when you are finished, you can chill at Brew Lab, nearby!

  1. Sounds like it could build a taste for violence to me...

To me, antisocial and horrific. Helping to create and live out a dystopian society.

No! Violence is the direct consequence of suppression ma'am you are clearly in need of a bash session.

  2. Or in the alternative it can create a safe place for someone to get their rage out in a safe environment and not hurt themselves or anyone else.
