This is fantastic! I was researching the locations myself and stumbled on your page. I had also found the Longhorn Motel already, but your spots with the roads were a huge help!
ReplyDeleteI found a couple of others too - Buford's Convenience is at FM 20, Bastrop, Texas & the motel is at 2003 W 2nd St. in Taylor, Texas.
Could you help me out a little with the trailer/bus location? I looked around the area you mentioned but I wasn't able to narrow it down. Thanks!!
I will have to rewatch the movie. I might have some better ideas now. I will rewatch and post here.
DeleteI've been studying this problem much of the day. There is no obvious answer. I'm thinking that there might have been two different locations used for this scene. One location is somewhere near (35.069006°, -106.762815°). The other location, featuring mobile homes, remains unclear to me.
