Here Comes Harvey

The latest modeling just rolled off the presses. The understanding now is Harvey's first landfall will be near Corpus Christi (3 a.m., Saturday, August 26th). The storm will likely loop around south and cross the coast back through Brownsville (5 p.m., Monday, August 29th), reemerge over the Gulf, strengthen again, and move northeast, with a second landfall near Port Arthur (Thursday evening, August 31st). There will be be lots of rain all along the coast. Since steering currents are weak, these locations and times are provisional and flexible.
