"Beatriz at Dinner"

Kind of a puzzle of a movie. A female Mexican healer (Salma Hayek) vs. a rich American asshole (John Lithgow).

Two alternative endings were provided. Alternative #1 was my favorite, but they went with the much-more-ambiguous Alternative #2. Still puzzling over that.

I'm wondering where the Mexican scenes were filmed. On the Mexican cruise I took in 2010 that went to Mazatlan, They had mangrove swamps like that, but no information on filming location was provided, or is yet available at imdb.
