At-large delegate Kera Birkeland told the Salt Lake Tribune that two other women cornered her and made death threats in a bathroom at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena.
"They said: 'You should die. They should pull the protection from the Utah delegation. You should all die,' " Birkeland told the Tribune.
Birkeland said the two women, who, she characterized as Trump supporters, called the Utah delegation "horrible" and "stupid." She told the Tribune that the women didn't touch her, but she felt "emotionally shaken."
"I came out crying," she told the newspaper.
