The Dangers Of Lead

E.: MMMMMMAAAAAAAAARRRRCCCC! What are you doing?

M.: Well, I ate only half the can of chili, so I'm sealing the top of the can with a plastic bag and a rubber band, and putting it back in the refrigerator, for later.

E.: No, you are supposed to put the chili in a bowl and seal the bowl with plastic wrap. What you are doing is too dangerous!

M.: It is? How?

E.: When you open a can of food, the can releases lead into the air in the refrigerator. You don't want that in your food, do you?

M.: Well, no, but they haven't use lead in canning for an awful long .....

E.: Don't give me any of your nonsense! You don't even wash fruits and vegetables. You eat food off the floor. What do you know about food safety?

M.: Well, it's not that dangerous - three-second rule! - but there's no lead .....

E.: No! You have to start watching yourself and be more careful!
