An Interesting Race For The GOP Nomination

The presence of the SuperPACS means that candidates who should be shunted aside in the brutal elimination process can always get enough funding to keep on going, and going, and going! Which means almost anything can happen if the campaign goes on long enough.

Remember in 2008, when Mike Huckabee withdrew from the nomination race before the southern primaries (his natural constituency) were held? Not this year! Gingrich should get a big boost with southern primary victories in March.

After that, though, my crystal ball gets murky. I see lots of campaign cash getting spent over the next six months, but that's all.
