On the return flight, I had such a long layover in San Diego I decided to wander around and see what there was to see.
How do you get out of this airport, on foot?
San Diego Bay waterfront.
Watching airliners make the hair-raising descent into San Diego's Lindbergh Field.
Watching birds (grebes, apparently) dive to feed off the plants growing on the bottom of San Diego Bay.
A sailing vessel.
